Predictions for the Philippines for the next 30 years

30 YEARS FROM NOW....
- The SLEX toll fees will be P3,000 from Nichols to Alabang.
- Traffic will be so bad that it will take 4 days to travel
from Cubao to Makati --- in the fast lane.
- The world will finally run out of oil. Cars will be
running on powder and lotion.
- With interests earned from their deposits, the Marcoses
will own Switzerland.
- Hindi pa rin nalilibing si Marcos.
- Miriam Defensor Santiago will finally be declared the
true winner of 1992 presidential elections; Ramos will
file a counter claim.
- Voltes V will be re-released for a fourth time.
- Fat Willy's will be burned down for holding an all-male
wet boxershorts contest.
- Erap will still be confused every Father's Day.
- To ensure that there will be no more communication or
telephone mix ups, will executions will be held at the
executive office in Malacanang.
- 90% of Filipinos will be millionaires. (But a can of
sardines will cost 800,000 pesos.)
- Because of population density, open spaces will be
rarities causing a shortage of golf courses. Thus, a
much smaller Luneta will be simply re-named "Fairway 14".
- Bro. Mike's clothes designer will pass away, dealing a
severe blow to the El Shaddai movement.
- There will be more old than young people in the world;
the "M" in MTV will stand for "matanda".
- T.V. NETWORKS will still be fighting over ratings only
to discover that no one's watching TV anymore except them.
- The Catholic Church will canonize Santa Claus, the Tooth
Fairy, Frosty the Snowman, Winnie the Pooh and Voltes V.
- The Philippines will successfully claim the Spratleys by
relocating squatters the Chinese can't drive away.
- The latest (or is it earliest?) prequel of Star Wars will
date back to 1999 and will be set in the Philippines. It
will be entitled "The Mark He-Menace".
- All text messages sent in the year 1999 will finally
reach their destinations.
